Signature d’accord administratif de collaboration entre la centif et les douanes ivoiriennes

Les Douanes Ivoiriennes et la Cellule Nationale de Traitement des Informations Financières (CENTIF) s’engagent à mutualiser leurs efforts en vue de lutter efficacement contre le blanchiment de capitaux et le financement du terrorisme.

Cet engagement, elles l’ont matérialisé par la signature d'un Accord   ce jeudi 16 juillet 2021, à la salle de conférence de la Direction Générale des Douanes Ivoiriennes. 

Rappelant que le blanchiment de capitaux mine les efforts des états en matière de sécurité, de paix et de développement économique, le Général DA Pierre Alphonse a invité les services douaniers et les points focaux à œuvrer à la bonne mise en œuvre de cet Accord.

Quant au Colonel-Major TOURE Idrissa, Président du CENTIF, il a salué les efforts des Douanes Ivoiriennes, notamment la désignation de points focaux, la connexion au décisionnel avant d’insister sur la nécessité de poursuivre les réformes, notamment l’opérationnalisation du Système de Déclaration d’Espèces aux Frontières (SYDEF). 

Il a aussi indiqué que le bon fonctionnement des dispositifs nationaux de lutte contre le blanchiment de capitaux est un gage de confiance auprès des institutions internationales.
